…instead of listening to no-adjustments McCarthy give a halftime speech. It would hopefully be more inspiring.
That’s so indicative of what’s going on with this team. He just laid on that kickoff even though nobody was within 20 yards. He could have gotten up and run for 10 yards and put us at the 40 yard line at least. Just so frustrating to watch. We seem so especially unaware – and we’re once again not playing with any sort of sense of urgency.
Already – it is apparent the Packers are getting outcoached.
Of course we’d never hire from outside the team – but Gase is quietly working miracles in Chicago. Their offense is clicking better than any offense during Cutler’s time there. Right now, they just plain look like the better team.
Once again – the team looks flat and kind of shocked by the fact that they’re not crushing a team they should be crushing. Instead of being stuck in shock they need to be making adjustments and getting each other fired up. Why does that never seem to happen? Come on – this is a huge game on a huge night against our biggest rival. Get into the game fellas.
Last week’s win may have lulled us all into thinking that the Packers are good. We are not very good right now. Period. It is upsetting. I know it’s raining etc but right now we’re letting lesser teams stick around because we keep getting in our own way offensively and we have some defensive holes better teams will exploit (I’m really starting to wonder about Nate Palmer – just not seeing him contribute much at all.)
when adams came toward the middle
Honestly – why aren’t they doing more to get him on the field? He is the only WR out there doing anything. I know he’s doing it on kickoffs but he’s at least doing something. Get him out there and give him a chance.
If they keep playing this way. This is such a poor game so far. That TD right there was so bad – nobody was covering the one guy the Bears are most likely to throw to tonight in Miller. Just poor defense and poor offense.
