No it didn’t matter ultimately, but there was no flag – would have been another missed call by the officials. (Just saw a replay of that and remembered that I had seen that during the game too.

And how About the illegal contact on Jordy on the Cobb TD. Knocked on his back about ten yards downfield. Thankfully Cobb was wide open.

My son, a 6th grader, yelled it out at the same time I did when Cutler threw that last pass. Granted, the refs can’t see the blue line, but isn’t there a line judge or someone who has this as part of their responsibilities?
Playing this out: if the Bears caught the ball in the end zone for a score, the play would automatically be reviewed because it was a scoring play. Is the score reviewable or the entire play? Not sure of the answer to that one. Luckily, it’s not something we need to worry about this week. Just happy we have another week of football.
Related, in the KC-SD game, I can’t believe that forward progress stops a play and is not reviewable in specific scenarios. His progress was stopped, but at the same time, the runner fumbled, was returned for a (thought to be) game winning TD by KC. My guess is that everyone in Pitt is asking about that along with KC since it knocked the Steelers out.

Entire body has to be past the line of scrimmage …. If the foot is behind the line when he releases if not a penalty

KC got screwed a couple times last night & that foul up with the time clock is Dallas was just deplorable. (Couldn’t have happened to a better team though).

Just went back and looked at this. Cutler was on the LOS when he released the ball. The rule is the passer must be completely beyond the LOS (and Cutler wasn’t in this play) for it to be an illegal forward pass. Good no-call.
