Here’s the yearly pattern. I pick the Bears for last. Then they beat the Packers……….that was a fluke……I hope the Bears beat the Vikings because the Vikes are a bigger threat in the long run….Michael Hunt reverses and states you can put a fork into the Vikings and after this Thursday night @ Miami, the Bears will be 1/2 game behind.
The Bears aren’t very good. They have a QB with a goose brain who watches Brett Favre Pick reruns on the tube. and an O-line of Swiss cheese. Their coach is the Anti-Cower in demeanor, but somewhat true to his word that his primary goal was to beat the GB Packers. But,………. don’t kick to them.
But then, what team is great this year, and who is really bad? Cleveland beats the Patriots by 20, the Giants lose 15 point dog Dallas, the Superbowl champs are on life support, and TB and KC are decent.
I happen to enjoy the amazing parity. But be careful what you wish for because the Bears could “awful” into the playoffs. “Ah, they’re in post season but going nowhere.”
Probably right. But in Parity Year, you better not pencil in W’s and L’s
I like the fact that the league is quite evenly matched this year. Every team is bringing a fight, and the upsets this year have been quite big.
Have also seen quite a few comebacks.
Every game is important. No matter the other teams record, if you slouch it off, your going to be fighting for the W.
Green Bay has really put it together. The offense is finally showing up, and that defense is starting to be tough to beat.
It’s early, things can still happen, but for the time being it seems as if the Packers have steered back onto the road, and are ready to roll. For a moment, it looked like this could of been one ugly train wreck.
I will say though, I am not and probably never will be sold on McCarthy. This happens time and time every year. He makes stupid decisions, including stupid play calling. Until he goes week in and week out showing intelligent and brilliant decisions, I will not be sold. He needs to know, he’s had plenty of chances, and that we can only take so many mistakes and bad decisions before the rope is cut.
