The Vikes dramatic victory may not have been enough…

Read here from PFT. Sounds like things remain ugly in MN because of Childress. These are not smart public tatements made by Viking players, though I don’t necessarily blame them (playing for Childress would suck).

This just keeps getting better. I love it.

Who you rooting for this weekend? Vikings or Bears?

I am leaning towards the Bears. One, I think their schedule is tougher the rest of the way then the Vikings and they are a flawed team. Two, a loss for the Vikings might send them into a complete tail-spin before the Packer game. They would be 3-7 with almost no hope for the playoffs. They would probably be a team in turmoil that might have their head coach fired on Monday. Three, it would be extremely satisfyingly to see Favre’s last season turn into a debacle.

That’s like asking who you like more…Hitler or Stalin.

@DaveK: when division opponents play, I usually root against the one with the better record.

I think the Vikings can be counted on to collapse down the stretch no matter what. That game Sunday was very sloppy, and doesn’t bode well for the Vikings when they play better opponents.

I’ll be cheering for the Bears as hard as that is. I think that if the Vikings win, they’ll be on a streak and that would feed Favre and company. The Bears will collapse on their own soon enough. So, Go Bears.
