Al Harris signs 1 year deal with Miami

Read here. Nice – good for Al. I sincerely wish him well going forward, classy guy. Apparently the Vikings, Lions and the Texans all expressed interest.

Also, just want to clarify that while I supported giving him a chance to make a difference yet this year by keeping him on the Packers’ roster and Ido  have concerns that this move may have ticked off guys still on the roster – I don’t think the the team is now destined for failure. We’ll be OK.

Good Luck Al, we appreciated you.

I am happy to see that Harris has a future with another team. I will miss him, but I suspect that, talent-wise, it was a good move for the Packers.

I wish him well and am thankful he decided to not go with an NFC North team.

Sad to see him go. A class act and a tough guy who got the most out of his abilities. Plus, he started the dread-locked DB trend which has been sweeping the NFL (not sure if that’s a plus or a minus).

He’ll always be remembered for that pick in OT against Seattle. nice legacy.

Al Harris said he wanted to play for the Dolphins because he lives in Florida during the off season. This move will work for him. I’m sad to see Al go because he was such a great player for the Packers. A class act, for sure.

I gotta say, thanks for the memories, Al, and best of luck against 30 of your possible opponents 😀

Also, I’m pretty sure as long as I’m a Packer fan, this will never get old.
