I’ll give this story more credibility when i hear it from someone besides ESPN & their “unnamed sources”. There could be a serious patient privacy act violation here & someone in the medical profession could lose their job if they happen to be the “unnamed source”.
I have been a little curious about the lack of media attention after the report that the Vikings told Favre they wanted a decision by the end of the weekend before last. Couldn’t understand why no one was pressing the issue.
Oh well, hopefully Green Bay’s new defense will lturn out to be purple people eaters.
Favre is no longer a concern for me (assuming he actually does come back). He can, and will, do what he wants. My concern is the development of the current GB Packers. There are many issues left over from last year that may or may not have been addressed.
The team still needs to improve the depth of the defense (LB’s and Dline) and the offense (line). In order to kill the curse of Favre, once and for all, the Packers must win the division while stopping the Queens cold.
One thing this will do is put the pressure TT and MM. A collapse this year could spell the end for both of them. Maybe that will be a good thing.
