Stupid Call By McCarthy

Why would he challenge Adrian Peterson’s touchdown?  Very, very stupid.

2007 was an anomaly. This game was disgusting. 218 rush yards is inexcusable. MM has said he would fix that all year. He did not. Next week will be no better. The aggresive Chicago defense will kill Rodgers, TT we need some damn athletes in the O & D lines. A gift wrapped victory is blown by coaching stupidity and bad players.

Do you think old genius TT can draft enough 2A players to fill both the D & O lines?

My God, McCaren is trying to say the Run D was good. 218 yards, Idiot!

I sure hope we are not starting another 30 years of mediocrity. 8-8 or worse just sucks!!!!!

McCarthy was horrible today. The decision to try and generate some offense from the 10 yard line at the end of the first half was idiotic. You might want to go into halftime and organize your o-line first. Way to hand them two points and then go on to lose by one point.

The offense was horrible today. The play calling was predicitible and lacked creativity. They three deep exactly one time which WORKED if not for a false start penalty. Rodgers was under pressure all day and when he wasn’t he wasn’t at all settled enough to be effective. Even the last drive was a joke. The only play that worked was when Rodgers bounced a pass off the middle linebackers head.

Bad coaching. Horrid offense. A defense, despite an outstanding secondary, that cannot stop the run. A punter that should be unemployed and a kicker that misses a game winner in a dome. The Vikings handed this game to the Packers and they still blew it.

    Is Donald Lee alive?

That challenge may have been the dumbest challenge I’ve ever seen.

Supposedly the Packers have an elite receiver corp, but are they slow to come open?? Are they only running slow developing routes? There were plenty of passing plays where Rogers had plenty of time to throw the ball, but he just didn’t.

Hey, does anyone know if Bob Sanders has a dog?

I was at the game and I will say that this loss falls on the offensive line. I was behind an endzone so I got to see some of the pivotal plays close up – the two safeties, the interception TD return and the punt return for a TD. And from what I, and the other Packer fans nearby, saw was that Rodgers had no time for most of the game. And when he did have time he was jumpy – likely wondering when the next hit was going to come. The poor guy just got beat up. It’s no wonder that he had trouble all game.

I think McCarthy has a share of the blame. But I think the biggest issue is just that our veteran guys aren’t playing well at all. Had Clifton been able to shut down Jared Allen like he did in Week 1 or last year in KC the game would have been different. The running game was finally starting to click, the defense played EXTREMELY well, and aside from the horrid play from the O-line our passing game likely would have played well too.

Oh, and Frost needs to get fired now. The punts that look bad on TV look 10 times worse in person.

The linebackers and O-Line have not performed. The D-Line is far from stellar, but it seems that they get decent penetration enough times to be effective, but the LBs are too often nowhere to be found (Bishop’s grea hit on 4th down notwithstanding). Minn won this game by running the ball effectively on the scond level and dump-offs, that’s on the LBs in my book.

Joe Buck’s crush on Troy Aikman is starting to wierd me out.
