PackerGeeks on Dennis Miller, Update

by

We promised the exact time of PackerGeeks appearance on Dennis Miller today. It’s live at 12:34 PM. In the Oshkosh area, it’ll air on WOSH at 11:34 AM, and in Milwaukee, it’ll air on WTMJ at 10:34 PM tonight. Listen to the whole show. It is one of the best — maybe the best — talk show in the country. And his guest in the first hour, Jonathan Martin, is one of the best political reporters covering the 2008 presidential campaign.

(sigh) Miller was great, until he crossed over to the dark side.

Some of us live on that “dark side.” We like to say that we’ve seen the light, as it were, on the dark side. I’ve always liked Dennis Miller and he’s one of the funniest guys alive. But I like him even more now that we see eye-to-eye on more things than not…

Now now, it was just a joke. I work in the arena and realize there are decent people across the divide.

Can we at least agree on the fact that Miller was the best thing in the MNF booth since Cosell? 😉

  4. sfhayes Says:

I agree with both points. (And the main reason I was on the show was to talk about a mostly favorable article I just did on Barack Obama. I don’t agree with him, but he’s certainly likeable.)

Some of my routine involves watching the Pack (there is no football without), listening to Dennis Miller (DMZ member here) and praying for the soul of humanity.
Let’s look for the day of enlightenment when the huddle masses learn self- respect for their own abilities, stop paying for a ruling gov’t and refuse to accept the decisions of the worst of nine as gospel. Mother Earth’s husband would be proud.
If we have to puke-out the anything about fairness, why is it out of the last 15 or so games, excluding the play-off, has it been only three times that the ‘Boys of Irving have had to travel to Green Bay? It’s like studying the process of gov’t in the early ’70s in Moscow!

Oh yes, we need a coaching staff that gives the other team all the plays in the book because we have the best team ever and that’s not fair.

I have no idea what Dave is on about, but wanted to let you know, Steve, that I just finished reading “Saint Barack Obama” (didn’t have the time at work today…) Excellent stuff.
