Rodgers should be shut down for the year

by

TT’s inability to establish a contingency plan at QB (because he didn’t want to jinx things for Rodgers) is a huge reason why the Packers have been so pathetic since Rodgers injury. But any way you look at it, if we are pretty much out of the playoff race, why bring Rodgers back?

Don’t you enjoy watching Packers football, regardless of playoff possibilities?

  2. AZPackFan Says:

Agreed, time for MAJOR coaching changes. This was a pathetic showing (57 yards on offense and giving up close to 500). We have kept these guys around too long.

  3. Bratchomper Says:

Seems like it’s more than just Rodgers. Packers have seemed to flat out quit on their coaching staff.

  4. Bill Says:

Thompson is the problem. Hi provides the horses. And we are watching lame horses trying to win the Derby.

  5. AZPackFan Says:

And that is reason enough to replace them ALL!!!! No effort, no pride, no care. The coaches are too busy blaming players to realize that THEY ARE the problem. Time to clean house!!!

  6. AZPackFan Says:

Bill….this is ALL on the players????really???? Nope, wake up and stop kissing McCarthy’s 1 ring. He blows!!!

  7. wilsonmaywick Says:

Injuries do not explain this pathetic display. No professional pride.

  8. Frank G Says:

Wow, am I glad the turkey was served and I missed the second half of this calamity…

  9. Bill Says:

I’m not keeping Mc safe. I think he seems to be snowed and lost in the blizzard too.

  10. AZPackFan Says:

If Murphy doesn’t demand these moves. Then replace Opie too. Screw it…..fire everyone!!!!!

  11. Bill Says:

Rogers looks like he is ready to go and sit in the bus.

  12. AZPackFan Says:

None of these guys has earned a paycheck in weeks. Pathetic.

  13. AZPackFan Says:

He is afraid of the beating awaiting him in 10 days. Call the season, bring is scabs and let the hilarity ensue. At least it would be entertaining with no expectation for these last 4 worthless weeks.

  14. Bill Says:

Enough is enough. We have a dinner reservation waiting so I am going to spend some time in the bath room. THAT WILL BE TIME WELL SPENT.

  15. AZPackFan Says:

Good job McCarthy!!!!! I love you as the coach!!!! You make this team good!!!! Without YOU we are lost!!!! (Sarcasm!!!!)

  16. Frank G Says:

Well, on the bright side, Jim Schwartz will probably be retained after the Lions win the division and his undisciplined but talented rabble will continue to underachieve.

Now, as for our undisciplined rabble on defense…outside of Matthews, there’s not a soul that I’d keep. Aaron Rodgers gets injured and the defense collapses. Amazing.

(you’re absolutely correct about our LBs…a sorry lot for sure)

I actually hope Rogers shoulder is still in repair and he needs to sit out two more. By then even dip stick mac and don will sit him the rest of the season. Oh, wait, no he won’t he will make a statement that with him everything is fine and no need for any changes at all. Moron

Lets see, took Monday off to rest from the overtime game. Spent part of tuesday installing an offense for Flynn: hand off twice and pass on third if we need to. That’s the plan. We win with Lacy carrying the ball and keeping that horrid defense of ours off the field. Gee that worked well. Unfortunately the Lions new that was the plan and were ready. Gang on the line and stop the run. Pretty easy task.

The conditioning coaches need to be let go along with the defensive staff. Every year this is one of the most injured teams on both sides of the ball (conditioning and strength training program must be evaluated). Defense obviously needs changes.

One last thing. I am tired of TT not acquiring any free agents to lift the team. Ron Wolf acquired Reggie White, Gilbert Brown, Sean Jones and others on defense and that is why the Packers won the Super Bowl in 1996.

TT is a good evaluator of offensive talent but seems to be weak in evaluating and drafting defensive talent.

    Go Pack Go!
