Packer Nation loves Donald Driver. The Packers are hosting a retirement party on Feb. 6th in the Lambeau Field atrium. 1000 tickets were given out free to the public on Friday morning at 9am. First, people started lining up at 2am for the tickets in sub-zero weather. Second, all the tickets were gone in less than 15 minutes. Donald Driver is loved and respected in Green Bay. I hope he finds a way to stay involved with the team either as a coach or as a goodwill ambassador.

Driver was the last guy on the roster that Ted Thompson didn’t acquire.

I was fortunate enough to be at game a few years back against the 49ers when Driver caught a wide open pass and somehow broke 4-5 tackles to get in the endzone. Highlight of the game and was vintage Driver with how he juked and scrapped his was to end zone.

Yeah, I’m gonna miss Driver. In his prime, he was an amazing playmaker.

Unless I missed somebody, that just leaves Rodgers as the only Packer on the roster from the pre-McCarthy era. Wow.
