NFL will be lucky if Packers win

by

This shouldn’t even be a close game. Colston’s first TD was a total joke – pushed off just like Golden Tate last week. And that no-call on the fumble recovery was criminal. It’s the NFL who is lucky here tonight. The referees would have been solely responsible for this game, for the second week in a row, if Hartley had made that FG and we didn’t drive down and score. Imagine the wrath of Packer fans, the media.

Ok – let’s put this game away here right now.

The media should be all over this if they have any integrity. We know Goodell and the NFL have none.

Agreed- there should still be an outrage!-i would have encouraged the fans to storm the field and beaten the crap outta the refs i mean come on!-still i knew this would happen-of coarse the refs would suck in OUR game the most- awful! lucky to have a win

It seems to me the purpose of having video reviews is to prevent injustice. That is, incorrect calls adversely affecting the outcome of a game. But the NFL restricts what can be looked at (and what cannot be), limiting the review process. These limits often defeat the purpose. Ignoring pass interference (for example) on Tate last week, which would have made the “simultaneous reception” irrelevant. The whole review precess is flawed and needs to be redesigned.

I groaned when I read Jeff Triplett’s team had the Packer game. Worst officiating team (real refs), in the NFL. Good to see the Packers are resilient and came out fighting. Now a hard 3 games on the road.
