Jones is apparently talking with the Vikings who are negotiating between Jones and Braylon Edwards. If the Vikings go for Edwards then it could be a possibility to have him back in GB.
Rusty – funny you mention that. I was wondering the same thing. Jenkins is 30 years old and after dealing with a few injuries I wonder if some teams are worried he’s slowing down. Part of what made him special before was his amazing quickness both getting to the QB and adjusting to the run – for a 300 pound dude. But if teams believe he’s lost some of that I do wonder if he won’t see quite the $ he thinks he’ll see. Still doubtful though that he comes back.
He didn’t have much production last year in terms of yards, but he had 5 touchdowns, more than any other Bear except Johnny Knox (who also had 5). I think that’s one redzone weapon Cutler is really going to miss.
Dave – while Olsen did have a few TDs (Forte had 9), Martz (or maybe Cutler?) never could figure out how to use him well and his overall productivity hasn’t lined up with his talent the last 2 years. I actually think the Bears picked up Matt Spaeth in part because he may be a quality redzone threat – he’s 6’7″ and with a couple years experience now in the NFL, I think he could be really good.
@awhayes: I was only counting receiving TDs (6 of Forte’s TDs were rushing).
I definitely had the impression during the 2010 season that Olsen was a key player in the Bears’ offense, but I have to agree that (other than his TD total) his stat line doesn’t really bear that out.
The Olsen deal is a system trade. Olsen is a pass catching TE but in the Martz system the TE is either blocking or on the bench. The fact that Olsen caught as many balls as he did last year was an oddity for a Martz team. I believe it was also Olsen’s lowest reception year of his career. In other words, Olsen is a Porsche but Martz needs an F-150.

I wonder if Jenkins to the Bears becomes a real possibility. I’ve seen a few other teams listed too. The Bears are the only ones that worry me.
What are the chances the market dries up and Jenkins comes back to GB? (not much, but I can dream)
