What cannot be debated (and what actually matters) is that our fans are the most knowledgeable (per NFL players) and loyal (90 season tickets turn over a season!).

It doesn’t have a billionaire owner but is owned by the community. It is the only and will always be the only NFL franchise that comes from such a small community and that creates a different kind of relationship between the Packers and Green Bay. Every time I go to a game I am just amazed that I park on a residential street a few blocks from Lambeau field. No meters. No fee. I park my car and walk three blocks to the gate. I’m also always pleased at how other fans are treated when in Green Bay. I have never seen an incident where someone rooting for the other team isn’t treated with respect and made to feel welcome even if they are getting a little lippy. I guess it is hard to be a jerk when the home team fans are buying you beer and asking you if you need any hand warmers. I’m not saying there aren’t jerk Packer fans but they sure seem to be fewer and far between then anywhere around the league.

Agreed though – I always feel as though we cheer for the best organization in the NFL, if not sports. Those shareholder meetings are pretty cool.
