best analysis I've read yet, and much more entertaining than listening to all the pregame hype.

Worst news? Almost everyone is picking the Packers to win. That scares me.

This should be fun!

And the Bears troll comes out of the woodwork.

I don't disagree with the fact that the lack of a consistent run game has hurt the Packers. Or that they need to pressure Cutler - that has been consistently listed here and other places as a key to the game for the Packers.

As for Cutler maintaining his cool over the last 8 weeks, I do disagree. The Seahawk game was the first time in 5 games that Culter hadn't thrown an interception. He had no touchdowns and 2 interceptions against NE and the same against the Packers in week 17.

Oh, one last thing. No team goes to the Super Bowl without a running game. There were teams that had dominant passing games, but they still had a solid, complimentary running game. James Starks and a weak O Line? Give me a break!!!! LMFAO!!!! Look it up. You will see that I'm right.

Paralysis of analysis. This game all boils down to two simple, easy to understand factors.

1. The Packers do not have a running game. Forget about that farce in Philly when the Eagles blitzed almost every play in a silly attempt to stop Rodgers, leaving themselves so vulnerable to the run that my 83 year old father could have run for 125 yards against them.
2. Cutler must play under control and Martz must call run at least 50% of the time.

The Packers are not going to find a running game against the Bears #2 ranked running defense.

So, the only hope for the Packers is to find a way to totally rattle Cutler. Not just a little bit. If he has an average game, the Bears win. They need to cause Cutler to melt down. Cutler has generally maintained his cool over the last 8 games. I don't see any chance of that happening as long as Martz calls a smart game. Martz is a smart guy and has had 17 games with this personnel. I don't believe that there is any chance that Martz or Cutler will screw this up.

Final Score: Bears 24 - 13 Book It

Change of topic: In today's paper, Atari Bigby says he's healthy and ready to play. But Coach Mike says Charlie Peprah is the starter for Sunday. To Atari, I say this is what you get when you fuck around on the last year of your contract. You come to camp late, you need surgery, you get more time away and then someone takes your job. Will you stay a Packer or will you be let go?

I agree with PackerBelle, many people are making too big of a deal about Terry MacAuley. We played a very sloppy game, and deserved most of those penalties. If we play with focus, we'll be fine in that regard and have a good chance at a victory.

Except that MacAuley is pretty middle of the pack in terms of penalties and, well, the Pack were playing sloppy. Plus he likely won't have the same crew as before.

Plus, while refs can be difference makers it should be the players to play so that the refs don't have that option.

Key insight missing from analysis. Referee is Terry MacAuley. Name familiar? Should be. He and his crew called 18 penalties against GB in first Bears-Packers game. 152 yards penalized. Bad news for GB. Could be the difference maker.
