After years of wondering if Favre is “really OK” enough to play, the cynical, delusional part of me is wondering if perhaps Favre is really injured right now. Perhaps he read my post from a couple weeks ago about how he could seriously help the Packers’ playoff chances by playing well down the stretch – so he decided to hang it up and fake an injury, leaving an already reeling Vikings squad to reel even more, if you will. Just sayin’….

Do a search on “Favre’s purple hand”. He’s legitimately hurt. And if he’s really having numbness in his hand–he should really not try to play.
I also have my doubts that Favre is smart enough to be that much of a manipulator.

In any case, I think we all recall all too well how Favre has played in the cold weather in recent years. As soon as the Vikings game was moved outdoors, it became a lose-lose for the Packers.

funny- i thought the roof caving in was self induced to give him more time to heal and keep the streak going- but youre assessment is entertaining at least.
