I’ll always remember Leslie for his role in the original Police Squad! TV show. Smarter and funnier than the Naked Gun movies that followed (in my opinion, anyway), it was unfortunately axed after only 6 shows. And like Nielsen himself, the show was far ahead of it’s time.
