October 24, 2010Jackson has been impressive tonight. It’s really odd, but he seems to have some nice holes to run through – I haven’t seen them create holes that big in a long time.

October 24, 2010Seriously. I wanted to draft the guy. He is just so hard to stay with because he has a quickness/speed combo few have. But he’s also gotten stronger in the last year. He is an elite player and if MN were smart, they would get him the ball as much as they can.
Bishop best LB in NFL history
October 24, 2010Maybe someday…ok, maybe not. But that’s the kind of thing he can do. I’ll admit, even as a huge Bishop advocate, he was very good against Washington, but not great against Miami – and tonight he’s been OK. But that is the reason the guy is on the field. He makes huge plays and he always has.Part of my frustration with his lack of playing time over the years has been his long track record of making plays just like that (he did it at Cal too).

Actually – upon further review, that Hawk pick…
October 24, 2010Ok, a pick is a pick and Hawk held onto the ball and then even had a nice run back. So I don’t want to beat him up over this – but the fact is, he was 3-4 steps behind the WR there and if Favre doesn’t make a bad play (influenced by Jones’ pressure), Berrian may have had a big gainer there. Again, I’ll take the pick – and importantly, it led to a TD.
