“Ten of his 11 children are Packers fans”

The man is obviously a failure as a father :)

Awesome story. My dad has a similar condition, discovered by accident when something else happened to him. It’s kind of weird to have to be “bled” every so often – seems like medieval times.

  4. Travis Says:

what does the blood get sold/used for if it’s basically like bad blood?

  5. foundinidaho Says:

The blood in and of itself isn’t bad. My understanding is that the person with the issue will continue to have his iron level go up and that causes other problems, where if they have blood drained periodically it keeps the iron level in their body lower. Or something like that.

  6. Travis Says:

So basically this rare type of blood causes iron level to increase, and too much iron can be fatal? Thats pretty crazy, and to find that out by your loyalty to Green Bay, is pretty amazing. This person was definately meant to be a Packer fan for life.

Great story. It makes sense that God would orchestrate something like this through His team. I’d give my right nut for another super bowl but I never thought of giving blood for season tickets. Perhaps the Packer Pro Shop should start dealing in organs and body parts to make it more convenient for the fans.

  8. Joe Says:

Waiting for the break down of Rodgers’ Pro Bowl performance …
