Tiger Woods is a dullard, I had respect for him, he has a wife fame and fortune…if he had sex with his wife on his front lawn, on his roof, at the top of the Statue OF Liberty, no one would care or say much, but he
couldn’t keep his pistol in his pants; no “not at all, I don’t fell sorry for him,” yes I’m man…that desires women. but even I wouldn’t cheat on someone I’d promised the be loyal to,

I would have to agree with you whole heartly on the media aspect. I have always been in love with the game of golf. The game itself is and always should be much bigger than any one player. I am condident that the game will survive with or without Tiger. We have been lucky through the history of the game to have personalities come along at the right time. Snead, Hogan, Player, Palmer, Nicklaus and I believe someone will come to the forefront. That being said I personally am just as interested in the 100th ranked player as the #1 ranked player. I have friends who are currently on tour and would really like to see more of what is going on with them on the coverage. As you stated the media has created this situation from the start. They need to learn from this and not put all their eggs in one basket in the future.

I have been a huge Tiger fan…mostly because he put a different face on golf and I’m always a fan of that. He made it more cool. But I admit I bought into the “he’s such a nice guy” stuff. I like to think I’m this cynical adult, but sometimes the media sells me too. Sigh.
