No secret why the JS lost another 10% of circulation. The Nannies have invaded the Sports section. Next thing they will editoriialize that the NFL stop keeping score. and provide juice boxes after the game. We don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, especially the Skins.

Good point Joshy–like Andy says though, he should have screamed at the refs a bit about that one. Maybe he just made some snide remarks on the sideline that only he, the ref and those nearby could hear–something like “Hey ya know, that little yellow handkerchief in your packet ain;t for blowin your nose in”. God, at least I hope so.

56- i’m perhaps overly optimistic of mm’s capacity for nuanced thinking – but i think that was part of the point of reviewing – to force the officials to watch that happen and no flag come out. i don’t think it was an obvious challenge call otherwise.

BTW, did anybody see Aaron nearly get his head ripped off, and did get his helmet ripped off when he tried to make that 4th & 1? The one that MM challenged & somehow lost. Where was teh penalty? There was a ref standing right there. Unbelievable.

Exactly. This is not an old-timers game or a children’s game where you just cheer for everyone. No one gets a “Participant” ribbon for playing in this game. If you are wearing the wrong color you get booed, simple as that.

I read that and was pretty close to sending him an e-mail. I think cheering him is inappropriate, regardless of how you feel about Favre personally. This is a Packer game and you should be cheering for the Packers – not someone on the opposing team.
