Here’s to Atlanta breaking Cutler’s streak and crushing Chicago. Couple that with a Minnesota loss and the Packers are right back in the hunt for the division (not that they were ever out of it).

Also, a side note: one often hears the media talking about franchises with a “win now” mentality. The Vikings are such a team. Perhaps it’s just me, but one of the great things about the Packers is that they definitely are still in the middle to closing stages of rebuilding a franchise, or in other words a “win later” mentality; yet, in many ways they nevertheless have the potential to win now and win big. I know this isn’t in any way a novel revelation. However, it really makes me excited about the future!

Ron – sorry, clarified it there in the post…no BEARS’ QB has done that for 36 years. I wouldn’t be surprised if Brees/Manning and co do it multiple times a year. I would bet that every other team in the league has had a QB attain a 100 rating for 3 consecutive games at least once over the last 36 years.
