As long as we self scout, work on fundamentals & techniques, and keep those pad levels right, we'll be just fine. Statistics show us that.

56, I agree, but I'll take it a step further. MM doesn't make adjustments at all., game or otherwise. The system is perfect and will not be changed regardless of the talent or lack there of he has.

Hey Joshy--I think your comment was spot on. FWIW. Glad to see he's out of his "self-scout" mode & now focusing on Detroit. Sometimes I think this guy is a robot. It's been said here before many times but I think McCathey's biggest weakness is failure to make "in game" adjustments & changes. Sometimes you just have to realize that what you are doing just ain't working.

i think the doom and gloom position i'd take today (because i'm having a crap day) is that even if johnson blows up every defender in his way, as soon as hall and blackmon are healthy, we'll be back to our former game-day roster. i think this because of a man named brady. and because of a man named jarrett. and because of a man named desmond. and because of a man named donald (lee). and because of men named mike and ted who have those men arranged out of order on our depth chart.

i just worry it'd take johnson 3 or 4 weeks of blowing people up to convince mccarthy that he should be the starter. please prove me wrong, mike.

i actually just commented over on cheeseheadtv.com about something i thought you guys might either agree with, or at least find worth discussing re: mccarthy. i think it affects his ability to adjust in-game.

my comment is about what i see as overfocusing and losing the big picture. sorry to move off-topic, but i think it's relevant to johnson getting significant playing time.
