Not when you live in MN and he’s thinking about coming here. I can’t even check local news online or on TV without running into it.

There is also the fact that for a lot of us Favre was an important guy. He’s a big reason I’m a football fan and he and Rodgers are the only starting Packer QBs I remember. To have him basically wanting to screw over the Packers is frustrating.

As far as postings being all about Favre go back & look at the posts in the days prior to the draft. I think you’ll find that the majority of the folks here are football savvy, die hard Packer fans that like to discuss all things Packers–which at the moment happens to include an old guy with a bad arm that at least today it appears, is not coming back.

Anyone think Levi Jones would make a good RT for the Packers this year? I honestly have no idea. 35 years old. Injured last year but a few things I have read still say he can play. He was cut when they drafted Andre Smith. Seattle is looking at him I guess. My hunch is that he is over the hill but maybe someone on here would have a more informed opinion.

Other notes:

The Bears are interested in Amani Toomer and possible Joe Horn. I wonder who else they will find in the bottom of that barrell?

Jason Hunter got cut. Can’t play DE or OLB in the 3-4. Heck, he couldn’t play DE in the 4-3.

Anything else to stop us from talking about Favre?

And after last year, we know better than to trust Brett. The guy’s word just doesn’t mean anything. Childress may not have met with Favre today. That doesn’t mean they haven’t been talking. That doesn’t mean they won’t hook up next week. Like Packerbelle says, we’ll just have to wait until September for sure.
