very cool Trav – good for Gary. I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes a better known coach before long. He was an athlete with a great mind for sports (played soccer with him and I believe he ended up being a Gatorade All-American…at his second sport!). Also, good for WI for having the #1 ranked team in Platteville too.

I appreciated what Favre gave us on the field. Off the field? That’s a whole different question. He is an egotistical jerk who should have the Team Name on his jersey changed from Jets/Packers to ME. Cowher is a disciplinarian and believes the word Team means something. That would not be a match made in heaven.

Makes total sense. Cowher has the upper hand in any negotiation with any team. I would assume he is trying to limit the drama associated with the whole will he/won’t he play, having to get him into offseason workouts, etc.

Unrelated, but of possible interest to Andy and Steve, I was in Green Bay (actually DePere, but close enough) last night to see a local Tosa boy continue to rise up the coaching ranks. Big props to Coach Gary Grzesk and my St. Norbert Green Knights, knocking off the #1 rated D3 team in the nation last night.
