Right now Brett Favre is the NFL’s highest rated QB (rating of 110), has thrown the most TDs (12) and is tops in completion % (70).

Minus all the drama, it is still hard to believe TT would not want a HOF QB…. I think any other GM in the NFL would get fired.
Aaron although has been playing very well himself. He has only threw a few bad throws while most are dead on. But the way our OL is playing, I wonder how well Favre would be doing if playing here.

Just ponder how many of Rodgers’ throw aways and taken sacks would have been interceptions if Farve were around. If you do that, and are honest with yourself, I think you will see that TT made a justifiable decision.
“Minus all the drama” – exactly how do you do that? TT did not make his decision in a vacuum. You can’t just take out all of the bad parts of a situation and make your decision as if bad stuff did not exist.

I think that minus all the drama TT would have kept Favre. Prior to Favre’s retirement everyone seemed to expect Favre would come back and TT and MM both seemed fine with it. It was the unretirement and his inability to a) keep his mouth shut and b) make a decision and stick with it that seemed to be the problem.

I guess that proves what a good O-Line can do. Jets spent mega-bucks on FA linemen. Packers – bargain basement crap shot. TT are you watching?

Attaboy Brett. And what Ron said.
