I would only do it if they gave us a blockbuster deal which they won’t do. A first and a mid round pick is not nearly enough in my opinion. I would want at least a first and second. I probably would even want more than that. Why should we give our biggest competition in the division the one thing they need to compete with us unless they are willing to give us a great deal. Second Thompson never would do this and I don’t blame him since he would lose all credability with players if he just caved to Favre’s demands. What if another player is unhappy in the future. They might think they could just cause a distraction and then they will get what they want. I seriously doubt Favre will be a Viking this season unless Goodell forces us to which at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t since he has already showed that he doesn’t mind doing more than what his job description says he is supposed to do.
