The things Favre is reported to say in this story makes me wonder if the guy is delusional. Thompson was "shattered" at the suggestion Favre might report to training camp, and "pleaded" with him not to? I almost think they should let the Vikings have him, along with a warning to be careful of what they wish for... D∈T

And the beat goes on and on and on and on and ..! Bus Cook ( previous comment) has already given us a peek at his strategy. That is, make the most trouble he can for the Packers and wait untill they give him an unrestricted release. What ever happens to the Packers is of no concern to Favre or Cook. Getting the $12 million (Cook’s goal) and sticking it to Thompson (Favre’s goal). Favre is a complete jerk and the sooner he’s gone the better. And that comes from someone who didn’t really like Thompson. Favre has lied consistently throughout this period of agony.

Fox Sports just reported that Mortenson’s interview with Favre indicated that Favre asked Thimpson yesterday, if he could come in to the facility. According to Favre, Thompson said, “Do you want to get me fired’? Does anyone with a brain believe that?
