Grief support for the Favre pain
As a counselor, I feel like it’s my duty to share with you all the commonly referred to model for the stages of grief. Considering that Favre retiring is akin to the loss of a loved one for many of us, here it is:
D-Denial
A-Anger
B-Bargaining
D-Depression
A-Acceptance
According to the model’s founder, Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, each of us may go through the various stages at our own pace. While some of you may find this helpful knowledge to have given the news today, I’ll share with you my model:
S-Shock
D-Depression

I’d like to add, that there are a number of appropriate alternatives to the final stage of the Kubler-Ross-HAYES model of grief/loss:
•Samuel Adams (Octoberfest or Double Bock)
•Killians Irish Red
•Guinness Draught (in my mind, this should be your first option)
I sense there may be quite a few hangovers throughout Packerland tomorrow morning.

I’m still recovering from the January upset. This is going to be a long recovery. Is there a support group available?
The answer is at the bottom of your Pabst, Miller, or choice of beer.
