If whatever is on his tapes can be shown by a prosecutorial voice to be part of a known, larger strategic web of recording tactics, it seems likely that his evidence could fall nicely into place. Given that Belichick has already been found guilty, at some levels anyway, perhaps a true investigative element would tend to believe Walsh, who has nothing to lose rather than the Patriots, who have everything to lose and whose reputation is already stained. Let’s hope so.
