This is a pretty interesting look at where the Packers and the Giants were after the Packers went to New York and won in week two. Former Jets General Manager and current NFL analyst Pat Kirwan, says Brett Favre must have been thinking: “I don’t have many runningbacks behind me and I don’t even know who my receivers are yet.” And yet, as Kirwan pointed out, the Packers had won 6 games in a row at that point. He predicted: “They’re going to be a problem for a lot of people.” That’s a pretty impressive prediction. But Kirwan also noted that only one team in the previous two years made the playoffs after going 0-2. He said: “It’s bleak for the Giants when you start looking at hte reality of 0-2.
