The only good news to come out of Sunday’s game is that Greg Jennings’ ankle injury is not serious. McCarthy said at his press conference that Pat McKenzie said it was a mild ankle sprain.
That’s great. But it would be crazy, given Jennings history of injuries and trouble with that ankle, to play him against the Lions. Just sit him. We’ll need him in our first playoff game.

I would love to see him play just a bit – I’m going to the game and want to see all my favorites play. But it makes sense to let him heal. At least I know I get to see Brett play given McCarthy’s comments in the press conference.

Just sit him out we already lost our chances for home field advanteges and we need him for the playoofs. Just put in Martin or Jones.

I agree with what you are saying, because i think Jennings is a big part of the packers offence, like the way he gets his yards after catch and with him being rested he will be ready for his playoff game against whoever they face.
