Great lede from Jason Wilde for this piece on Packer successes: “They’re not paying $11.50 for their hamburgers at the bistro, $11 for a can of tuna at the grocery store or a $20 cover charge at some trendy nightclub. The Green Bay Packers are most definitely living the High Life.”
It’s only a matter of time before Wilde is writing for Sports Illustrated or ESPN Magazine.
UPDATE: Okay, I just got to this piece. Seriously, this guy is really good. What a great way to tell a story that could have been just another gameday filing.
